Journal of a South African Zombie Apocalypse to attend Supernatural Mini-Con 2015

Supernatural Mini-Con 2015comes to Sandton on April 4th 2015and callsall vamps, lycans, ghosts, zombies, hunters, ghouls and shifters to head to Learnfast Sandton (114 Katherine Drive) to feast on all things supernatural. The inaugural event kicks off at 12:00 and Lee Herrmann, author of the dystopian novel Journal of a South African Apocalypse, will be in attendance to talk about his novel and sign copies.
Supernatural Mini-Con 2015 features a cosplay, prize raffle draw, fandom merchandise, awesome food, Supernatural TV Show episode viewings, onsite tattoo artist, photo studio, ghost hunters talk, tarot reader and a photo studio with live zombie. ‘We’re thrilled to be part of Supernatural Mini-Con and it’s gearing up to be a spectacular Con.
Anyone into horror or zombies has to stop by and get a copy of the book. There’s even going to be a live zombie at the event to pose with and get a great photo of you and the book. We’ll also be having a Draw of the Dead, where every purchase of the book goes into a draw to win an exclusive hamper of Journal of a South African Zombie Apocalypse merchandise,’ says Herrmann.The book will be on sale at the event for R120 and there will also be limited Journal of a South African Zombie Apocalypse merchandise on saleonsale courtesy of Zombie Run SA.

Told from the perspective of sixteen-year-old Kon, Journal of a South African Zombie Apocalypse is a coming of age story in a very different South Africa, and chronicles one family’s fight for survival against the walking dead.
