SAZA Launches New Website
Submitted by: South African Zombie ApocalypseSouth African Zombie Apocalypse’s (SAZA) new website boasts bold new look, and includes tips, merchandise, tales of the undead and online sample extracts
South African Zombie Apocalypse (SAZA) is the newly launched brand from the minds that brought zombie fans Journal of a South African Zombie Apocalypse and the newly released The South African Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide. SAZA is described as ground-zero for all things zombie, and is devoted to serve as a guide to surviving the eventual Zombie Apocalypse through fictional stories and practical guides.
SAZA is the brainchild of author Lee Herrmann and long-time collaborator Stephen Lewis, and is an umbrella brand for the books and merchandise they produce. SAZA combines comprehensive listing of SAZA books and directory of authentic guidelines and commodities in the ever-growing genre. ‘There’s no authentic South African zombie brand and that’s where SAZA comes in. It offers the same quality post-apocalyptic interpretations as brands like The Walking Dead or World War Z, but bases it in our unique local landscape,’ says Lewis.
The redesign incorporates bold colours and a unique undead vibe that will entice and entertain horror and zombie fans. Visitors to the new website can read sample extracts of the books and get a taste of tales of the undead. The brand launches in conjunction with the release of Herrmann’s latest book: The South African Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide.
‘Zombies still have mass appeal, and our Survival Guide gives specific information for the average South African. It will help you gauge how you would survive a Zombie Apocalypse in your own backyard, and we have a lot of fun looking at the most effective weapons, accessories and vehicles… and basically how to smash a zombie!’ says Herrmann.
With SAZA Herrmann and Lewis aim to extend the reach of zombie culture through books and original zombie merchandise and have some fun preparing for the looming end-of-days.
