SOUTH AFRICA GETS ITS OWN ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE

The South African Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide, follow-up novel by author Lee Herrmann shows South Africans how to survive the Zombie Apocalypse

Ding-Dong. There’s a horde of flesh-craving zombies at your front door. What do you do?

A) Grab your cricket bat and start swinging

B) Activate your well-prepared survival plan

C) Drop, curl into the fetal position and cry uncontrollably

Your survival will depend on what you know.

Lee Herrmann, the author of Journal of a South African Zombie Apocalypse has released another installment of undead literature. A companion piece to the first novel, The South African Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide, is a practical how-to volume with a unique South African flavor. ‘Zombies are still big at the moment and our Survival Guide gives specific information for the South African landscape. It will help you gauge how you would survive a Zombie Apocalypse, and we have a lot of fun looking at the most effective weapons and vehicles… and basically how to smash a zombie!’ says Herrmann.

Offering practical tips of surviving the very-real prospect of a Zombie Apocalypse, The South African Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide looks at everything from which supplies will be useful to how to read a potentially dangerous situation in a post-apocalyptic future. What makes it different is the fact that it applies to the average South African. ‘South Africans are unique. We have to cope with everything from crime to load-shedding, so when the Apocalypse happens, our situation will be very unique when dealing with zombies,’ says Herrmann.

The South African Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide is the second novel under the SAZA brand (South African Zombie Apocalypse). SAZA is the brainchild of Herrmann and long-time collaborator Stephen Lewis and is described as ‘ground zero for all things zombie. T
