Two suspects apprehended thanks to Fidelity ADT Officers in Laudium
Written by: Jacqui Save to InstapaperFidelity ADT Officers apprehended two suspects following a break-in at premises in Seventh Avenue, Laudium on 1 November. At approximately 11:20, the suspects gained access onto the property by jumping over the wall. They then broke open the security gate and a wooden door to get inside the premises. A security officer nearby saw the suspects and phoned the homeowner who immediately activated his Fidelity ADT Panic.
Responding to the alert, Fidelity ADT Reaction officer Castro Khoza and back up officer Maanda arrived at the scene.
Together the Officers entered the premises, carefully searched the premises, while noticing the damage the suspects had caused. They found the suspects hiding under a tree, cornered them and apprehended them. No items were stolen.
The suspects were handed over to Laudium SAPS.
“These Officers displayed brilliant teamwork and competence,” says Maurice Malan, Branch Manager for Fidelity ADT. “They are an asset to the Fidelity ADT team and I congratulate them on these arrests.”
