One suspect has been apprehended by Fidelity ADT Reaction Officers Kwenamore and Mkwetha in Klerksdorp on 14 September.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:20am. The suspect was stripping one of the vehicles parked in a yard in Ellaton Street when the neighbour who immediately called Fidelity ADT spotted him
On their arrival, they found the stolen items on top of the wall left behind by the suspect. Both Officers inspected the property further and found a suspect hiding behind bushy trees. The suspect was arrested and handed over to Constable Lenong, Klerksdorp SAPS.
The owner of the residence also arrived and confirmed that all stolen items belonged to him, taken from a kombi that was parked under the car port.
Chamone Bronner , Branch Manager for Fidelity ADT commended Officers Kwenamore and Mkwetha for their swift response and apprehension of the suspect.” “We all have a role to play in securing our suburbs. Suspects often rely on informants in communities to share valuable intel which can help them perpetrate crimes. United communities are harder to infiltrate and I encourage everyone to support their neighbourhood security schemes and communication groups. By working together, we can achieve more successes like this and tighten the net around criminals.”
