Transform Trauma into Triumph: Get Up and Grow’s Exclusive 12-Week Online Workshop Series to Overcome Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)

Submitted by: Sinta Ebersohn

Cape Town, South Africa – This November, Get Up and Grow, a globally recognised online community dedicated to resilience and post-traumatic growth, proudly launches an exclusive, live 12-week online workshop series: Overcoming Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Starting in the first week of November 2024, this transformative series aims to empower individuals to turn past trauma into lifelong strength and resilience.

Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences

Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs, include experiences such as abuse, neglect, and household dysfunction, all of which have a lasting impact on a person's emotional, physical, and relational well-being. Studies show a clear connection between ACEs and increased risks of chronic health conditions, mental health challenges, and difficulties in relationships. Recognising the importance of addressing these root experiences, Sinta Ebersohn, founder of Get Up and Grow, has curated this series with a focus on deep healing, resilience, and meaningful post-traumatic growth.

Our goal with this series is to empower our community members not only to heal but to develop resilience skills that uplift every aspect of their lives—from family and career to emotional and spiritual well-being,” explains Sinta Ebersohn, an award-winning, internationally accredited Mentor and Post Traumatic Growth Specialist. “This series isn’t just about addressing trauma; it’s about unlocking each person’s potential to thrive, no matter where they started.”
