Jacaranda FM is excited to announce the extension of its partnership with the Pretoria Capitals for a fourth consecutive year. As the official radio partner, Jacaranda FM will continue to amplify the team's journey through the Betway SA20 cricket league, bringing fans closer to the action.
This renewal builds on Jacaranda FM's longstanding commitment to supporting local sports teams. The station has been a steadfast backer of the Titans cricket team for over 30 years and the Blue Bulls rugby team for more than 15 years, making the Pretoria Capitals a natural addition to its roster of fan favourites.
Since joining forces in 2023, the partnership has heightened excitement around the Betway SA20 tournament, South Africa's premier T20 competition, which features world-class talent and high-stakes matches that unite cricket enthusiasts across Gauteng and beyond.
The Betway SA20, set to kick off its 2026 season on 26 December, promises another round of electrifying cricket with teams like the Pretoria Capitals showcasing top players in fast-paced T20 format games. Jacaranda FM's involvement will include special broadcasts, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes content, ensuring listeners feel part of every boundary, wicket, and victory.
“Our partnership with the Pretoria Capitals has been incredibly rewarding, and we’re thrilled to be entering our fourth year together. At Jacaranda FM, we believe in backing teams that unite fans and create memorable sporting moments. Cricket, particularly the T20 format, brings people together in a powerful way, and the Pretoria Capitals embody that excitement and energy,” says Vuyani Dombo, Managing Director at Jacaranda FM. " This collaboration allows us to connect with fans on a deeper level, sharing the passion, bringing the feel-good energy of the Betway SA20 while inspiring the next generation of cricket lovers.”
Speaking on the association, Karan Yadav, CCO of JSW Sports and Pretoria Capitals, adds “Jacaranda FM has become an integral part of our journey in the SA20, and we are delighted to extend this partnership for a fourth season. Their ability to connect communities through sport, music and storytelling aligns perfectly with what we aim to build at Pretoria Capitals. As we step into another exciting campaign, we look forward to working together to elevate matchday energy and bring fans even closer to the Capitals experience.”
As the Pretoria Capitals gear up for the upcoming Betway SA20 season, Jacaranda FM invites listeners to tune in for all the latest updates and exclusive content that make every match a must-hear event.
