One Month To Go Until ULTRA South Africa Brings The Hottest Global And Local Acts To Dance Music Fans

The countdown is officially on. In just one month, ULTRA South Africa, ampli5d by 5FM, returns for its highly anticipated 11th edition, bringing world-class electronic music back to Johannesburg and Cape Town.
This year introduces a festival first: Johannesburg will kick off the celebrations at the Expo Centre at Nasrec on Saturday, 25 April 2026, followed by Cape Town at The Ostrich on Sunday, 26 April 2026. With the following Monday being a public holiday, Ultranauts across the country are preparing for an unprecedented weekend of non-stop energy and top-tier production.
A Star-Studded Global Line-Up
This year’s line-up is headlined by global heavyweights: chart-topping tech-house sensation John Summit, French hitmaker DJ Snake, progressive house icon Axwell, and a special back-to-back set from Afrojack and R3hab.
The RESISTANCE Stage will feature a world-class roster of underground headliners such as New York legend Dennis Ferrer and South African powerhouse Shimza.
The full support line-up includes: Apashe, Kyle Watson, DJ Kent, TiMO ODV b2b Kyle Cassim, Indigo, Kitty Amor, Major League DJz, Caiiro b3b Enoo Napa b3b Da Capo, Mpho.Wav, Mila Rose, Baby Whitz, Headroom b2b Geometric Flux, Niskerone b2b Dakota, Kurt April, Dwson, Leighton Moody b2b Cassiem, and Roz.
Johannesburg Expands To Four Stages
In Johannesburg, the festival expands to four stages. Alongside the Main Stage and RESISTANCE, The Groove Room returns to celebrate the continent's most influential sounds with a stacked Amapiano and Afrobeats line-up featuring Liquideep, Scorpion Kings, DBN Gogo, Zee Nxumalo, Oscar Mbo, Que DJ x DJ Lag, Sun-El Musician, 2shoes, Lelowhatsgood, and Slow Poison.
The UMF Radio x Confessions Stage will host boundary-pushing sounds with Dean Fuel, CINIMIN, Chunda Munki, Vimo, Connie, Aidin Caye, Mia, Skelm, Jevan Binder, and Threemanweave.
Building Anticipation For The Biggest ULTRA Yet
"There is an electric feeling in the air when we hit the 30-day mark," says Shaun Duwe, ULTRA South Africa organiser and CEO of The Unit.
