Lionel Bastos Takes the Stage At Bay Harbour Market this Weekend

Taking to the Brampton Sound Stage for Friday Nite LIVE! on June 8 is the award-winning artist, singer and songwriter, Lionel Bastos. Bastos has written and produced songs for global artists and causes such as Yvonne Chaka-Chaka, Little sister, Clout and Vicky Samson to name a few. Regarded as a true musical genius, his music encompasses a range of genres.
On Saturday June 9, local jazz band the Jackson Vibe entertains the Bay Harbour Market audience. The members of this young outfit began their musical careers playing at a community church and have gone on to become popular Hout Bay regulars with their blend of jazz and swing. They are currently awaiting the final mix on their soon-to-be released latest recording.
Ending the weekend off on Sunday afternoon are guitar maestros Dan Boshoff and Jimi Curve. This acoustic and bass guitar duo draw on a range of folk, reggae and world influences including classic Southern African coastal music such as Tananas or the Goema Captains.
The Bay Harbour Market, Hout Bay also showcases over 100 stalls featuring arts, crafts, fashion, decor and delicious cuisine.
