Submitted by: Ian DickinsonSpring brings a fresh line-up of artists to the Bay Harbour Sound Stage. Cape Town’s most happening market comes alive with more food, fashion, craft, music and an energised vibe at the turn of the season.
Friday Nite LIVE! 6 September – Larter Brothers

Saturday 7 September - Katelyn Convery
On Saturday, folk/rock/pop/swing singer-songwriter Katelyn Convery displays her mix of musical styles on the Bay Harbour Sound Stage. This talented artist from Portland, Oregon has travelled the world, but decided to plant her roots in the Mother City. Katelyn draws inspiration from the human experience and her many travels. Her music has been described as "hopeful-melancholy” - calm and subdued with a relatable message and poetic lyrics.
Sunday 8 September – Laurie Levine
Bringing market goers a unique twist on folk music is Laurie Levine who performs live on Sunday 8 September. Levine’s talent lies in her ability to draw on the deep roots of folk music and combine it with a myriad of other influences, including sounds from America’s Appalachia region and her native South African roots. With acoustic guitar as her main instrument, and her poetic lyrics, Levine allows listeners into an intimate world of her emotions.
