NGV Gas recognises gas-powered taxis at awards ceremony
Written by: CubicICE (PTY) Ltd Save to InstapaperNGV Gas, a division of CNG Holdings, is rewarding customers in the taxi industry for being loyal users of compressed natural gas with a range of exciting prizes at its annual awards ceremony, to be held on 19 October.
Total prize value for the event exceeds R90 000, which will be distributed across various categories. The top-filling vehicles from each of the four NGV Gas fuelling stations from the period 1 June to 30 September 2017 will receive prizes valued at R10 000. These consist of R3 000 in cash for the driver of the vehicle, and a R7 000 Supa Quick voucher for the owner of the vehicle, which can be used to purchase any Firestone tyres and front and rear brakes.
There will also be a lucky draw for all vehicles that filled over 550 L/eq. per month of compressed natural gas. The winning draw will receive a cash prize of R3 000 for the driver of the vehicle, and R7 000 for the owner.
The spoils don’t stop there: all customers attending the event will also be entered into a separate draw to stand the chance to win a number of additional prizes, including Bluetooth headsets, gas vouchers, airtime vouchers, tool boxes, clothes and much more.
The ceremony will be held at NGV Gas’ filling station at Langlaagte on 19 October. CNG Holdings will be providing food and refreshments and has organised live entertainment for what promises to be a fun-filled event as well.
CNG Holdings, in partnership with the Industrial Development Corporation, is leading the natural gas revolution in South Africa, and has converted over 950 taxis to date to run on gas.
