Move Your Soul at Bay Harbour Market This Weekend
Submitted by: Ian DickinsonThe place to be on Easter weekend has got to be the Brampton Sound Stage at Bay Harbour Market in Hout Bay!
Easter weekend at Bay Harbour Market kicks off on Friday night, April 6, as popular band Black South Easter launches their new album ‘In Waves’. Fronted by the talented Nhoza Sitsholwana (ex-back up signer to Simphiwe Dana), this eclectic mix of talented and experienced musicians from South Africa and Mozambique captivate audiences with their infectious, afro-fusion grooves and soaring soul melodies.
Bay Harbour Market’s ‘Friday Nite LIVE!’ never looked so good! But this is just the beginning!
On Saturday afternoon, Bay Harbour Market’s entertainment presents the return of the popular new-age fusion band, Abbot Nu Jazz. Expect to toe-tap to their popular world fusion influences and jazzy rifts, blended with some spicy computer tons.
And to end the weekend on a high, Easter Sunday brings with the unique sounds of ATLAS, made up of independent band musicians, Lenoy Barkai and Zach Smith. Their soothing yet vivacious music varies from folk songs to up-beat pop and ballads, with the occasional multi-lingual lyric.
