The Bay Harbour Sound Stage gives way to an eclectic mix of musos this weekend. 

Friday Nite LIVE! 23 August – Midtempo and Emma De Goede

The weekend kicks off with Midtempo a unique and captivating band that comes armed with a well-blended repertoire of age old jazz standards and soulful original compositions. The band's line-up consists of Guillaume de Villiers (Vocal / Guitar), Peter Ndlala (Bass / Sax) and Jason Thabiso Helman (Piano / Keys). The trio teams up with vocalist Emma De Goede to give market goers a contemporary yet classic mix of music perfect for the weekend ambience at the market.

Saturday 24 August – Johnny Ray Band

Taking to the stage on Saturday, 24 August is acclaimed blues-rock guitarist Johnny Ray and his band. With his rough voice and strong guitar-playing skills, Johnny Ray’s lively Blues-Rock style is suited for a party of any kind.

Sunday 25 August – Jamie Jupiter

Bringing his impressive musical skills to the Bay Harbour Market on Sunday is ‘one man band’ Jamie Jupiter. Jamie is an experienced muso having played different instruments for various bands both locally and abroad. His diverse skills come to life in his solo show, which utilizes live recorded sound loops allowing Jamie to layer each song with a multitude of fascinating sounds creating the effect of a full band. Watching him create his sound is an education and a treat.
