Hitting the stage on November 23rd for Friday Nite LIVE! is powerful jazz/funk trio Acid Blues. Consisting of funding member and super-talented jazz guitarist James Kibby, renowned funk/blues/punk bassist Maurice Paliaga and experienced session drummer Richard Pickett, this is a collaboration that is sure to impress.
Entertaining audiences on Saturday November 24th is unique jazz-fusion band Abbott Jazz. Created by SAMA-nominated artist Guillaume de Villiers, this outfit is bound to wow audiences as they cross and blend genres with a creative use of contemporary technology. Abbott Jazz makes use of live stage looping and masterful improvisation to create their distinctive sound.
On Sunday November 25th, jazz band Cardigan Buzz are back on the stage to entertain audiences with their interesting blend of jazz, swing, folk and blues. Cardigan Buzz has enjoyed commercial success and local radio play with their original track 'Meaning of You' and they are regulars on the Western Cape music circuit. With their brand of marketable music that appeals to audiences young and old, this lively band is sure to get you grooving.
As well as awesome live music, arts, crafts, fashion, decor and delicious cuisine, Bay Harbour is also hosting a monthly comedy showcase on the first Wednesday of each month.
