CAPE TOWN, HOUT BAY, 25 APRIL 2013 – If laughter is the best medicine then you’ll definitely get your dose at the Bay Harbour Comedy Supper Club on Wednesday 1 May 2013. Give your funny bone a good workout with some of SA’s best comics and while you’re at it, grab a delicious dinner and enjoy a fantastic night out with friends and family.

Headlining the evening is renowned comedic magician Magic Man (Andrew Eland). Since 1982 Andrew has been traveling around the globe with his one man comedy/magic show “Feel the Magic of Andrew Eland”. It is a diverse experience in the mastery of manipulation and comedy with a range of world-class props or items from the audience. Worth seeing!

The host for the evening is Dugald Pieterse. Pieterse, hails from Bredasdorp, and performs “observational comedy” with a fresh sophisticated charisma.  He is one of a handful of comedians who is at ease performing both in English and Afrikaans.  From family affairs to more controversial topics, he tackles them all keeping his audience laughing throughout.

Support acts for the evening include Dylan Skews and Angel Blythe Campey. Skews is one of South Africa's fastest-rising comedy stars. Winner of the Nandos Comedy Showdown in 2009 and the winner of Phat Joe's comedy show in 2010 where he won the title "Cape Town's next comedian”, his signature is laid back, yet edgy, allowing the audience into the hilarious thoughts inside his head.

Angel Blythe Campey was given a birth name that didn't afford her many career options growing up. What's in a name? For Angel it's a punch line. This witty new comedian has been blazing trials all over South Africa. As a new comedian she counts herself lucky to have performed on the best stages with some of SA's comedy heavyweights already.
