Food, Fun and Fantastic Music at Bay Harbour Market This Weekend

Taking to the stage for Friday Nite LIVE! on October 5 is SA music legend Steve Van along with bass player and pianist Pete Stein. Steve has enjoyed success on the local music scene with various bands including Junglebook Vultures, Rust and the Vans. More recently, the acoustic rock pioneer has been working on a new album with Pete Stein that combines his past influences of folk, rock and blues with modern day pop and dance. Don't miss these incomparable SA musos!
Popular jazz band Cardigan Buzz are back on the Brampton Sound Stage on Saturday October 6 to entertain audiences with their interesting blend of jazz, swing, folk and blues. Cardigan Buzz are well-known for their creative reworking of Tom Waits' Chocolate Jesus and have enjoyed commercial success and local radio play with their original track Meaning of You. This fresh outfit is sure to get you grooving!
Ending the weekend off on Sunday October 7 is powerful acoustic duo, Paul de Villiers and Stefan. With a wide repertoire ranging from the Rolling Stones to Coldplay (as well as a few original tracks thrown in for good measure), the twosome will provide the perfect ambience for a family day at the market.
As well as awesome live music, arts, crafts, fashion, decor and delicious cuisine, Bay Harbour is also hosting a monthly comedy showcase on the first Wednesday of each month. The line-up for the 3rd of October 2012 features host Martin Evans, Ndumiso Lindi, KG (Kagiso) and Mark Palmer.
