Father's Day Weekend on the BAy HArbour Sound Stagepresents musical performances from Cameron Carston Trio; Rob Thomspon and Greg Smith and the Nomadic Orchestra.
On June 14th the Cameron Carston Trio kick off the long weekend at Bay Harbour Market for Friday Night LIVE! On Satruday 15 June, market goers can enjoy a blast from the past from Bles Rock guitarist/singer/songwriter Rob Thompson, whose talents on his Fender Stratocaster are bound to impress, while Greg Smith, bassist and vocalist for Ted Nugent, has shared the stage with the likes of Billy Joel, Alice Cooper, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Alan Parsons Project, Crystal Bowersox, Dokken and Graham Bonnett to name a few. Greg was also the principal bassist and backing vocals for the Tony Award winning Billy Joel and Twyla Tharp Musical :Movin Out"for its entire 3 yar run on Broadway and 1 year on the road.
Presensting the vibe for Father's and Youth Day celebrations on Sunday 16 June is a pumped up performance by five-peice band The Nomadic Orchestra and their infectious high-energy dance music. The Nomadic Orchestra is strongly influenced by traditional music from the countires of South Eastern Europe: Macedonia, Romania and Serbia bringing a strong jazz aesthetic to the band and this as emphasis on improvisation.
