August Celebrates Women on the Bay Harbour Sound Stage

Latina style comes to the Bay Harbour Sound Stage for Friday Nite LIVE! on 16 August with Los Tacos, whose vibrant music gets visitors in the mood to shop. With Jeronimo De Los Rios on vocals; Jesse Gillis on guitar; Shaun Cloete on keys and guitar; Wade Potts Brown on drums; and Glenn Stein on bass; Los Tacos gives you a mix of Latina sounds with a Cape Townian vibe.
Saturday 17 August – Tamarin Seed
Taking to the Bay Harbour Sound Stage on Sunday 17 August is Cape Town singer/songwriter Tamarin Seed. She has been performing her songs in venues around South Africa for 14 years. Her music can be described as folk-soul with a raw-edge; happy and melancholy.
Her songs have been play listed on major radio stations in South Africa, which include 5fm, Kfm and CCfm. One of her songs featured on the South African television programme “Going Nowhere Slowly”.
Sunday 18 August – Liane Halton
Winding off the weekend with her magical music on Sunday 18 August is Liane Halton. Her music combines technical proficiency with an emotional core that is sadly lacking in today’s world of plastic pop music. Liane’s music grabs your soul and moves it. Having completed a B. Mus. in Composition at Rhodes University in South Africa in 2011, she moves effortless between contemporary rock and folk music and classical and jazz styles when writing and performing with soulful vocals that overlay ethereal guitarscapes.
