One of five winners from Kwikspace’s 50th Anniversary Photo Competition held last year chose their winnings to be donated to the local Tinkerbell Nursery School in Meyerton. The winnings of the 4th place prize, R 5 000, was used to host a fun day on 24 November for 60 children between the ages of 7 months and 6 years.
Two jumping castles were provided by Kwikspace through Happy Kids Jumping Castles, and a third was supplied by the jumping castle supplier at no cost. Boerewors rolls, cool drinks, ice creams, and party packs were offered to the children. The children, performed a heart-warming show that included singing and dancing for Kwikspace’s management who attended the event, and joined in on the last song.
“The fun day was successful. We were able to deliver joy, happiness and smiles, which made our extended contribution to this initiative all the more worthwhile.” said Talita Losper, Client Relations Manager, Kwikspace.
The principal from the nursery school, Fikile Selina, appreciated the initiative and contribution to the school’s image. “My experience with the entire team was heart-warming, to say the least. The children were extremely excited and still talk about it today. The parents were just as happy, which lead to word-of-mouth about the school, resulting in enrolment applications through parents’ neighbours and friends. Thank you very much, Kwikspace,” she concludes.
Kwikspace is Africa’s largest supplier of prefabricated buildings for rent or sale, and has over 50 years’ experience in the industry.
