In a recent project, Kwikspace demonstrated how its manufacturing capacity, facilities and resources, and its commitment to customer satisfaction enable it to consistently fulfil client requirements, even in challenging circumstances.

Having been appointed to carry out renovations and upgrades to the LG Holele Secondary School in Ga-Rankuwa, Thaw Construction placed a rental order for Kwikspace classroom, ablution and toilet units. At the time, all the classroom units in Kwikspace’s Rentals Division were out in the market. Determined to fulfil the customer’s order, the rentals division made a special arrangement for the manufacture of new classroom units. “Our manufacturing facility is the largest factory of its kind in Africa. We made special arrangements to increase the capacity of the factory, enabling the manufacture of the required 39 classroom units,” explains Kwikspace Rental Account Manager, Claude Naidoo.

Kwikspace also recruited additional third-party service providers to assist in the transportation, and installation of these units on-site, at the school. Poor weather hampered the installation process, but the Kwikspace team persevered and completed the installation on time. “We are committed to serving not only our industry, but also the education sector,” adds Naidoo.

The total supply included the 15-month rental of 39 classroom units (7 x 8 m); 3 ablution units (3 x 9 m); and a paraplegic toilet unit (3 x 3 m). These were delivered and installed on-site in May 2022, enabling learning to continue unhindered while Thaw Construction carries out its work.
