New Hytec Klerksdorp Branch Manager appointed

Hytec Klerksdorp, a branch of Hytec South Africa, a Bosch Rexroth South Africa Group Company, is now managed and directed by Cobus Nieuwoudt, recently appointed Branch Manager. The appointment, effective 1 July 2021, follows a six-month stint as acting branch manager, during which time Nieuwoudt proved his capabilities.

Having joined Hytec in July 2015 as Internal, and later External Sales Representative at the same branch, his previous experience was also within the Bosch Group, in the automotive sector. He later gained significant experience in the Group’s mobile equipment offering, and subsequently found his niche in servicing the cement industry’ hydraulic requirements.

Nieuwoudt retains his cement industry portfolio, servicing companies in the Lichtenburg/Mafikeng region while carrying out his branch manager responsibilities. Reporting to regional manager Colin Simms, Nieuwoudt says one of his aims is to “build the branch to be recognised as the go-to hydraulics company in the area”.

“Cobus has demonstrated his commitment to the branch and the company by motivatingand encouraging the staff to go beyond the call of duty,” said Colin Simms. “He remains an asset to the Group, and we take this opportunity to thank him for all his contributions over the years.”
