Hytec Hydraulics Botswana appoints new General Manager

Abrie van der Merwe has recently been appointed General Manager of Hytec Hydraulics in Botswana, effective 01 November 2017.
Van der Merwe has over 23 years’ experience in the Fluid Power industry, majority of which were spent in various positions within the Hytec Group. Van der Merwe encompasses the Group’s commitment to a total single-source hydraulic, pneumatic and automation solutions supply with his experience across the Group’s specialist companies. He has experience at Tectra Automation, Hytec Fluid Technology and at Hytec; his most recent position was as Senior Technical Sales Representative at Hytec Kuruman in the Northern Cape. This holistic experience will serve him well at the Group’s growing operations in Botswana.
Hytec is the hydraulic specialist company within the Hytec Group, specialising in the single-source supply of hydraulic components to turnkey hydraulic systems.
