Uvongo Flea Market      

This is a firm favourite weekend destination, bursting with local charm! Expect to find a wide variety of bargain-priced items. The market features both permanent and daily stalls filled with unique products, making it an ideal spot for discovering one-of-a-kind treasures while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.

Sweetdale Night Market

Enjoy a relaxed evening with great music, awesome craft and food stalls, a special vibe, and more. Bring friends,  family, and pets - don't forget there are great kids' activities.

Grannies Fun Walk

Take a breezy stroll (or jog!) along this beautiful coastline! Soak in the views, and be part of a Rotary Club of Hibiscus Coast tradition loved for nearly four decades.

Heritage Day at Dino Park

This Heritage Month, Dino Park is bringing the ROAR to the KZN South Coast! Join for a day packed with proudly South African culture and family fun.

Ugu Scathamiya              

Witness the country’s finest groups take to the stage! Isicathamiya is a truly unique and cherished musical tradition.

Crocworld Conservation Centre Heritage Day Celebration

This Scottburgh-based conservation centre is the perfect spot to celebrate Heritage Day. Visitors are encouraged to come in traditional attire that reflects their heritage, with great specials and live music by saxophonist Jerry Kunene.

Umgqigqo Resilience Art Exhibition

The exhibition brings together 21 artists from KZN and across South Africa, showcasing a diverse array of artworks across various mediums, including sculpture, painting, ceramics and mixed media.

Ugu Maskandi Festival

South Coast Marathon

The race, organised by the South Coast Striders Athletics Club, attracts many athletes for the 42, 21km, and 10km routes. There’s also a 5km fun run on the day. Online entries will be taken up to midnight on 24 September 2025.
