TCL’s Five-A-Side Road to Greatness Tournament Returns In 2026 with a Chance to Play in London

Following the massive success of its debut last year, TCL, the Global No.1 Mini LED and Ultra Large Screen TV brand (75”+) according to OMDIA 2025 and official Global partner of Arsenal FC, is thrilled to announce that its five-a-side Road To Greatness tournament is back in 2026.
This five-a-side football tournament is looking for South Africa’s best team to compete against winners from other countries on one of the world’s most famous football pitches - the Emirates Stadium, home to Arsenal FC. Open to all South Africans over the age of 18 and with a valid passport, the 2026 tournament kicks off locally in April 2026, with teams from across the country invited to register and compete.
The winning team from South Africa will go on to represent the country against other international teams from markets including Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, South Europe, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. Winning teams from each country will secure a place at the global finals in London for a once-in-a-lifetime three-day experience, taking place from 17 - 21 May 2026, where they will compete against winners from the other regions until a winner is crowned.
Global Finals Experience
The global finals offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Players will have the opportunity to train with Arsenal FC coaches, meet club legends, embark on a stadium and museum tour and compete in the TCL Road To Greatness final at the Emirates Stadium.
The Emirates Stadium is more than just a football ground; it is a global stage with a capacity of over 60,000 fans. As the home of Arsenal FC, it has hosted some of the greatest players in English Premier League history. For the winners of the TCL Road to Greatness, it represents the pinnacle of their footballing journey, a chance to play where legends have made history.
Registration Details
Registration for the South African leg of the tournament is now open. Competition is expected to be fierce, and spots are limited to 16 teams per country. Teams can register via this form https://forms.gle/ixCQ2VTxvwdYf6LM7 and are encouraged to do so before registration closes on 29 April 2026.
