CFI Financial Group, a leading global online trading provider, will host the next session in its education series,’ Trading Strategies for Volatile Times,’ on Thursday, 30 October 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Umhlanga (Durban). The seminar runs from 19:00 to 22:00, with registration taking place from 18:15.
The evening will be led by Ron William, a cross-asset strategist, educator, and performance coach with over 25 years of financial institutional experience. Williams will unpack how to read shifting market conditions and respond with discipline.
The session covers how to identify volatility regimes and sentiment shifts, how to spot higher-probability setups and manage risk, and how to avoid common mistakes when stress is high. Attendees will also learn how to build a flexible, rule-based trading playbook and draw practical lessons from real market case studies.
“We aim to take the mystery out of trading in fast markets,” says Zihaad Israfil, CEO of CFI Financial South Africa. “When you know what drives price swings and you have a clear set of rules, you can act with more confidence instead of reacting to headlines.”
The seminar follows CFI’s education-first approach used at recent events in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with plain-language explanations and step-by-step guidance designed for traders who want to strengthen their decision-making before risking capital.
