Written by: Save to Instapaper
Epnet were recently asked to setup and conduct a live stream from Johannesburg for an event hosted by the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) in conjunction with The South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA)
Titled: Regional choices, global context: Opportunities for Southern Africa
It explored the implications of preferential trading schemes, the rise of south-south trade, the potential impact of mega-regionals, potential implications WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement, and international production networks. These presented both challenges and opportunities and the dialogue explored their nature and magnitude in achieving national and regional objectives.
Epnet were privileged to have been involved as the ICTSD include live web streaming in all their public meetings but chose us for this local event getting the word out to the rest of the world. Whilst based in Geneva the meeting was in Johannesburg and our web streaming services proved invaluable to these organisations and we are proud to have been involved.
