This December, Woodlands Mall transforms into a playground of Disney-inspired wonder with its spectacular ‘Sea to Safari’ adventure. From 6 to 24 December, families can enjoy an unforgettable holiday outing featuring oceanic escapades, safari-inspired fun, and creative activities inspired by Disney classics like Moana 2, The Lion King, and Inside Out 2.
A Festive Journey of Magic and Wonder
Located at the Main Promotions Court, ‘Sea to Safari’ is the ultimate destination for families seeking holiday memories that will last a lifetime. Activities include:
- Motunui's Ocean Wave Photo Stand: A picturesque nod to Moana.
- Safari Crafts: Celebrate The Lion King with fun, hands-on projects.
- Themed Games: Participate in the Moana 2–inspired Kakamora Knockout Game for a chance to win Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnuts.
- Creative Fun: Enjoy Inside Out 2–themed crafts in a vibrant, festive environment.
Sessions run hourly from 10am to 5pm (with the last session at 2pm on Christmas Eve). Tickets are R80 per child, with additional crafts and photo options available for purchase.

Photos with Santa
From 13 to 24 December, visit the Letters to Santa Photo Stand (located behind the info desk, opposite Starbucks). Capture cherished moments as children meet Santa and share their holiday wishes. Packages are available at the stand.
Gift Wrapping for Charity
From 11 to 24 December, Woodlands Mall offers gift wrapping services to support the Educare Foundation, which provides reading materials to underprivileged schools. Located outside Mr Price and Le Creuset, the service is priced as follows:
- Small gifts (A5 or smaller): R10
- Medium gifts (A4): R15
- Large gifts (A3): R20
- Extra-large gifts (larger than A3): R35
Bows are available for R5, with free poly ribbons and tags included. All payments are card-only for security purposes.
Disney Charity Tree: Spread Joy and Give Back
Located in the Main Promotions Court, the Disney Charity Tree invites visitors to support Reach for a Dream, a foundation helping children with life-threatening illnesses. For just R50, you can donate and be entered into a lucky draw for one of four R5,000 PEP vouchers.
The initiative is supported by PEP, FNB, and Toys R Us, making this a meaningful way to celebrate the season and brighten a child’s day.
