Johannesburg Concierge Forum and D&D Celebrate Glamorous Christmas in July in Sandton

Johannesburg, August 2025 – The Johannesburg Concierge Forum in conjunction with D&D Concierge Consultancy embraced festive cheer early this year with an exclusive Christmas in July event, bringing together hospitality professionals for a day of culture, pampering and luxury experiences in the heart of Sandton.

The day began with a warm welcome and light refreshments at the iconic Sandton Sun Hotel, where concierges and guest relations staff gathered to reconnect and kick of a curated itinerary celebrating both the spirit of the season and the art of hospitality.

Next, guests were treated to a cultural immersion at the Standard Bank Art Gallery where they enjoyed a private viewing of local contemporary works, highlighting South Africa’s rich creative talent and heritage.

The journey continued at the fashion-forward House of Nala in Sandton City.  Guests explored a luxury retail space showcasing the best in African design, with a bespoke walk through of designer collections that embody the continents elegance and innovation.

Another highlight of the day was a visit to Alto 234, Africa’s highest urban bar, where the group took in panoramic views of Johannesburg.  This elevated moment perfectly captured the spirit of celebration and wonder.

Indulgence followed at Soho NYC Salon where the Forum’s members enjoyed complimentary treatments, gifts and bubbles.  This was a moment to relax, recharge and experience first hand the elevated offerings available in the area.

The day concluded on a sparkling note with a diamond themed quiz and prize giving hosted by Brylliante, where members competed for prizes in a playful, festive setting.
