Clearwater Mall Marks 21 Years with a Bold Celebration of Indian Culture
Written by: Clearwater Mall Save to Instapaper
Clearwater Mall is turning 21, and we’re not holding back. To mark the milestone, the Upper Mall Parking Area will be transformed into a lively explosion of colour, flavour and style with the Made in India Market - a culturally inclusive celebration running from 1 to 17 August that promises bold shopping, big energy and serious festive flair.
For over two decades, Clearwater Mall has grown alongside its community, adapting, listening and creating space for experiences that become core memories and supporting causes that matter. This August, the mall celebrates its coming of age with a powerful showcase of tradition, colour and flavour. The Made in India Market blends street food, fashion, footwear and accessories into a shopping event that’s lively, inclusive and rich in personality.
“Clearwater Mall has always been a place where communities meet. This market is designed to bring people together, honouring our cultural connections and making room for fun. The Made in India Market is a real expression of that,” says Prianka Singh Rodgers, Marketing Manager at Clearwater Mall.
The market will feature an eclectic mix of stalls offering bold bites, handmade fashion, statement accessories and unique finds – all rooted in Indian heritage. With entry at just R10 per person, it’s affordable, accessible and open daily from 10am to 9pm.
“Whether you're coming to shop, eat or explore, the atmosphere will pull you in,” Singh Rodgers adds. “It’s the kind of event that invites you to stay longer, discover more and share the experience with the people you love.”
Positioned as a destination where culture, creativity and community meet, Clearwater Mall continues to prioritise inclusive programming that reflects the diversity of its shoppers. The Made in India Market builds on this ethos while giving customers a chance to enjoy something different – a sensory mash-up of sights, sounds and spices, right in the heart of the West Rand.
Clearwater Mall has consistently evolved over the past 21 years, growing from a retail hub into a lifestyle destination with a pulse. From large-scale seasonal events to boutique activations, the focus remains on delivering meaningful, high-energy experiences that go beyond the expected.
The Made in India Market is the latest chapter in that story. It’s vibrant, expressive and full of character – just like the shoppers who’ve helped shape the mall since day one.
