Congratulations to Jayden Davis (Grade 12) and Jason Reineke (Grade 11) on their selection for the first ever Junior Adventure Racing World Championship in Canada later this year.

Preparation Through EXP Africa Lite Race

As part of their preparation, they will be competing in the EXP Africa Lite race over 200km, from tomorrow through to Sunday. This will be an event that they use as preparation for the World Champs.

Demanding Multi-Discipline Challenge

This is a demanding event which comprises a 9 km hike/run, 40 km Mountain bike, 30 km paddle, an additional 80 km Mountain bike and a 54 km hike. There are also rope sections in the race and it is all self navigated using map and compass, starting from Mountain Splendour Resort and finishing at Alpine Heath.
