African Licence Passes 30,000 Active Users

Written by: Save to Instapaper

African Licence, South Africa's leading learner's licence course, passed 30,000 active users in November, highlighting the popularity of the site for South African students that look for quality learning to pass their learner's licence test.

Says Christo Crampton, Head of Education: "We believe we've found a formula that works for South Africa students. The questions are relevant, the level of engagement very high (students use African Licence to help each other with tricky questions), and the end result is not just that students pass their test, but that they actually know the content and become better, safer drivers."

The 30,000 users are not users that have simply visited African Licence, but users that have been active on the site answering over 4 million questions (for an average of 130 questions per student). This database of questions gives African Licence a unique perspective on what students know and don't know, and therefore enables a very successful learning curriculum. African Licence hopes that the government will be enticed to use this data to improve road safety in South Africa.

African Licence is a free learner's licence course offered to all South Africans and can be accessed via Mobile Phone, Tablets or PCs/Macbooks.
