Get ready for an unforgettable summer on the Sapphire Coast with a host of thrilling events and activities for all ages. Highlighting the season is the Winkle Toti Winkle Race on 16 December, where adrenaline meets the ocean in a competitive race. From seaside games and inclusive events like the Water Sweets '24 Games, to the action-packed King of the Upper South Coast Fishing Competition, there’s something for everyone.

Winkle Toti Winkle Race
Date: Monday, 16 December 2024Time: 8am startVenue: Winkle Surf Lifesaving ClubRegistration: On the day from 6:30am at the venueCost: R100 (14 and over) | R50 (U14)
Races:
- Surfski Race: Winkle Beach to Toti Beach and back (12.6km)
- Long Course Beach Run: Winkle Beach to Toti Beach and back (12.6km)
- Beach Run & Walk: Winkle Beach to Warnadoone Rocks and back (4.8km)
Lucky draw prizes, food stalls, and a craft market will add to the excitement.
Sizzling Summer with Lotus FM
Date: Friday, 13 DecemberTime: 6am to 12pmVenue: 95 Beach Road, Amanzimtoti
Join Lotus FM for live broadcasts, fun activities, and great prizes.
Water Sweets '24 Games
Date: 21-22 DecemberVenue: Amanzimtoti Main Beach
This inclusive programme allows disabled and able-bodied holidaymakers to enjoy activities such as seated volleyball, sports quizzes, and beach arm golf. The event ends with a Santa surprise visit and a beach afterparty.
King of the Upper South Coast Fishing Competition
Date: Monday, 16 December 2024Time: 4am - Lines in | 12pm - Lines out | 1pm - Weigh-inFishing Area: Bluff to Umkomaas North BankCost: R350 (includes goodie bag and meal) | R400 after 6 December (no goodie bag)
Prizes: R50,000 worth of prizes, lucky draws, and raffles.
