Carefully considered colours and textures create a sense of place in Polokwane
Platinum and Diamond MVG cardholders at Meropa Casino in Polokwane have exclusive gaming access at the KIBA Salon Privè, which operates as a private VIP club. It offers members a private entrance, with dedicated parking area and car wash facilities; an elegant lounge to unwind; VIP gaming assistance; personal waiters to tend to every player’s needs; private restrooms and ample security.
This premium gaming experience has undergone a glow-up undertaken by blacksmith design inspiration, with a magnificent custom-made crystal chandelier designed as a one-of-a-kind statement piece as the focal point upon arrival.
Rich marble-veined tiles in golden hues and a bespoke leaf-inspired carpet in complementary tones which evoke the maize fields and Bushveld sunset, create a sense of place, and whisper at luxury and sophistication. The palette is further enriched with royal blue fabrics.
“The colours, textures, and finishing details work together to elevate the tactile and visual encounter,” says Ryan Illgner, CEO, blacksmith design inspiration.
“Walls are warm, earthy greys for a soft, calming atmosphere. These tones were chosen to evoke a sense of restful elegance, creating the kind of cosiness that encourages guests to linger, relax, and feel at ease.”
The overall atmosphere of the new Salon Privé is one of refined indulgence. Thembi Maseko Meropa’s Assistant Gaming Manager for the Slots Department says: “We look forward to receiving our most valued guests into this beautiful environment, where they will love every moment of their gaming.”
In the Salon Privè, you’ll find table games including blackjack, baccarat, American roulette and raise ’em poker. Bets range from R25 to R100, and tables open at 11h00 and close based on demand.
