Jacaranda FM Brings Feel-Good Energy to Hoërskool Kempton Park with Live Broadcast and Surprise Performance From Loufi

The school bell rang a little differently at Hoërskool Kempton Park this morning as Jacaranda FM’s Feel Good Tour rolled onto the grounds for a feel-good live broadcast as part of the station’s 40th birthday celebrations.
The morning was packed with interactive moments, including a special live edition of the fan-favourite Morning Family Quiz, where students had the chance to test their knowledge on-air.
However, the highlight of the morning came when the team revealed a major surprise: a live performance by Afrikaans pop sensation Loufi had the entire school on their feet.
“Broadcasting live from Hoërskool Kempton Park was such a vibe. The energy and the gees from those kids was unmatched. I wish I could start my day like that every morning,” says Martin Bester, host of Jacaranda FM’s Breakfast With Martin Bester.
“It’s a privilege for us do be doing this tour and go out there and meet the people that make this radio station what it is where they are at – in their communities, at their school, in their town. It’s our community, the people who step up for those in need through Good Morning Angels, the people who request music and who play games and win competitions.”
Martin adds, “Surprising the kids with a performance from Loufi was an incredible feeling. He always brings the party and the kids were so excited to see him! We love live music and it was an incredible feel good moment.”
The Tour Continues
The Jacaranda FM Feel Good Tour is a month-long celebration designed to thank the station's loyal listeners across Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and the North West, bringing its on-air personalities closer to listeners while celebrating four decades of feel-good moments.
The tour continues tomorrow, 15 May, with a live broadcast from Krugersdorp High School before the Feel Good bus heads to Hartbeespoort and Rustenburg Mall.
