Avengers Cape Town Football Club to Represent South Africa at TCL Five-A-Side Road to Greatness Tournament in London

TCL, the Global No.1 Mini LED and Ultra Large Screen TV brand (75”+) according to OMDIA 2025 and official Global partner of Arsenal FC, is proud to announce that, fresh off their victory at the local finals in Johannesburg last week, Avengers Cape Town Football Club will be representing South Africa on the international stage at the prestigious TCL Five-A-Side Road to Greatness Tournament in London next week.
The team will depart this weekend to compete against regional champions from Hong Kong, Turkiye, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and South Europe.
The tournament will take place from 17 to 21 May 2026, with the grand final being played at the iconic Emirates Stadium.
South Africa’s Squad For The International Tournament
The squad representing South Africa includes Timothy Liesering, Matthew Africa, Jayden Wakefield, Dullin Karelse, Fawaaz Petersen, and Aghmad Elloufti.
The team will be accompanied by popular content creator Chad Jones, who will document their journey from take-off to kick-off, giving fans an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the action across his social media platforms.
A Once-In-A-Lifetime Football Experience
In addition to facing top international competition, the Avengers will enjoy an unforgettable football experience, including training sessions with Arsenal FC coaches, meeting club legends, and a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Arsenal stadium and museum.
