Holiday fun at Crocworld
Submitted by: Agnes MatladiIt’s been non-stop holiday fun at Crocworld Conservation Centre with visitors enjoying the engaging holiday programme, meeting and learning more about the many residents, or stopping in to enjoy a meal and drink at the Fish Eagle Café.
Friday, 16 December was an extra special day for the Scottburgh-based centre as everyone joined in to celebrate Henry the Nile crocodile’s 122nd birthday! The world’s oldest known Nile crocodile in captivity tucked into his own birthday treats while guests got to enjoy a free cupcake.
This year, Crocworld is also playing host to the WildED Holiday Camp, running daily from 19 to 23 December from 8.30am to 3.30pm.
Here, children aged 8 to 13 years are enjoying animal interactions, adventure games, alternative sports, arts & crafts, as well as after-dark adventures such as Survivor, frogging and a bonfire. Don’t miss out on any of the Crocworld festive season fun!
