Game On - The MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience Heads to The Glen

One of South Africa’s biggest gaming tournaments is coming to The Glen from 26 to 28 June, bringing competitive gaming, live challenges and prizes to the South of Johannesburg.
Now in its fourth year, the MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience is the country’s only gaming tournament staged at malls nationwide, making competitive gaming accessible to established players, first-time entrants and curious spectators.
The eight-mall series carries a total prize pool of R350 000, with winners earning prizes and the chance to compete in the national finals.
EA FC 26™ Competition
The action begins with an EA FC 26™ online qualifier on 21 June, where the top four players secure a direct place in The Glen Mall Final.
Players can also enter one of 12 in-centre heats during the event weekend.
The Mall Final winner will receive a R2 500 mall gift card and qualify for the National Football Final, where a R50 000 prize pool is up for grabs.
Second and third place will win gift cards worth R1 500 and R1 000 respectively.
More Games And Live Challenges
Gamers can also test their skills in Beat Saber, Brawlhalla, Tekken and Street Fighter 6, with additional mall gift cards on offer.
A PC Gaming Zone, free-play stations and the Keyboard Rebuild Race add to three packed days of action.
