Cape Town gamers, your next challenge has arrived.
The MTN SHIFT Gaming Experience heads to Table Bay Mall from 10 to 12 July, bringing three days of competitive play, live challenges and prize-winning opportunities to centre court.
Tournament Overview
As one of South Africa’s biggest gaming tournaments and the only one staged in malls nationwide, MTN SHIFT gives players across different skill levels the chance to enter, compete and experience tournament gaming in an accessible setting.
The eight-centre series carries a total prize pool of R350,000, with mall winners earning prizes and places in the national finals.
EA FC 26™ Competition
The action starts with the EA FC 26™ online qualifier on 5 July, where the top four players secure direct entry into the Table Bay Mall Final.
The Mall Final winner will receive a R2,500 Table Bay Mall gift card and qualify for the National Football Final taking place at Canal Walk in August 2026, where a R50,000 prize pool awaits.
Second and third place will win gift cards worth R1,500 and R1,000.
Additional Gaming Experiences
The weekend also includes Beat Saber, the Fighting Cup featuring Brawlhalla, Tekken and Street Fighter 6, free-play stations, a PC Gaming Zone and the Keyboard Rebuild Race.
