Retainer Based Expertise the way to go for Immigration and Expat Management
Written by: Leon Save to InstapaperThe changing Immigration and Expat Management environment in South Africa has led Global Migration Group's CEO, Leon Isaacson, to adopt a consultancy model. Isaacson says that companies, have seen the need to have the services of a skilled and experienced Immigration professional on speed dial, in this technical and ever-changing environment.
The primary movers are labour protection, poor employment creation in South Africa; the need by Government to be seen to be taking actions for local people to create employment for them; and compliance with Immigration and labour laws, " said Isaacson in Cape Town today.
"We have developed a bespoke and advisory model for retainer clients who employ foreign staff. The service is currently offered to local and international companies (listed and private), Universities and overseas project partners as well as Law Firms.
The routine administrative tasks have been in-sourced and the companies save that way," said Isaacson.
The service typically involves
- Immigration Audit work;
- Assessment of Applicants for Visa types;
- Expat Policy development and updating of policies;
- Ad hoc advice on issues.
