Cape Town, South Africa – 19 August 2026 – Voices Into Africa, a platform dedicated to elevating African speakers and thought leaders on the global stage, has officially opened registrations for the 5th Annual Pan-African Speaker Summit (PASS) 2026. Taking place virtually on 11–12 September 2026 under the theme "Echoes of Tomorrow" the Summit is the leading online gathering for professional and aspiring speakers, trainers, facilitators, and coaches across the continent.
Development of the Pan African Speaker Summit
Now in its fifth year, PASS serves as a collaborative hub for professional capacity building and connection. Following four previous milestone editions, the 2026 theme highlights how African storytelling and expertise transcend geographical and cultural boundaries to shape global conversations.
Developing Speakers Across the Continent
In addition to knowledge sharing, the summit drives a long-term movement to support speaker development in underrepresented regions, helping establish national and regional professional speaker associations. Delegates gain direct access to continent-wide networks, mastermind groups, professional coaching, and profiling opportunities through the Red Jacket Speaker Bureau.
The Voices Into Africa Vision
The co-founders and community of Voices Into Africa envisage the annual Pan African Speaker Summit (PASS) as a highlight of its lively calendar.
"Africa has extraordinary wisdom, incredible insight, and world-class speakers. We do not need to play second fiddle to anyone," says Charlotte Kemp, Summit Organiser, Chief Relationship Officer and co-founder of Voices Into Africa. Kemp is also a Futurist, and former President of both the Global Speakers Federation (GSF) and the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (PSASA).
“Our goal was to seek out and empower people across Africa that had something to say. So we were giving Africa a voice, and moving away from the voice of the West and the voice of the East and the voice of the North, and focusing on people in Africa,” Chief Education Officer and co-founder of Voices Into Africa, Bruce Wade, emphasises. Himself a former president of the PSASA, Wade is also known as The Thinking Sensei and AI Thinking Partner.
Watch Parties: Democratising the Event
To expand access to the Summit, Voices Into Africa are providing Watch Party tickets for groups, organisations and communities that can benefit. With a Watch Party ticket, the event can be projected onto bigger screens to include larger groups of viewers. Watch Party tickets even include resource packs that can be used for collective speaker development before, during and after the event. The Voices Into Africa community are enthusiastically looking forward to a wider adoption of this opportunity during the 2026 Summit.
Global Support for Giving Africa a Voice
PASS 2026 has attracted support in the form of sponsorships at a global and continent level. Virtual Speakers Association International (VSAI) has provided a premium ROAR sponsorship as a motion of confidence in Africa’s speakers. In a recent interview, current VSAI president Liz Hardwick (CSP) said: “ One of the things we are really passionate about at the Virtual Speakers Association International is to break down the global barriers. We think it's really important to be able to connect with speakers across Africa.” Other confirmed sponsors include the award-winning leadership development provider Totally Morpheus and YaziMedia Communication, both Whisper sponsors who have very vocally encouraged Africa’s emerging speakers.
