Hytec appoints New Regional Manager for African Country Units

The Hytec Group of Companies has appointed Adrian Smith as Regional Manager, African Country Units, effective 20 August 2015.
Smith assumes responsibility for four of the Group’s southern-African operations – Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and Zambia.
His more than 20 years’ experience in the mining industry includes managing director of a multinational engineering company and, subsequent to moving to SA in 2005, regional responsibility for aftermarket operations in the DRC, Ghana, Mali, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
“Smith’s career history in mining operations stands him in good stead for the four African operations for which he is responsible,” commented Mike Harrison, Hytec General Manager.
