APC Storage Solutions SA shortens turnaround times for Movibloc® mobile shelving

To ensure quick lead and delivery times, APC Storage Solutions SA has acquired stock of 80 bays of Movibloc® mobile shelving at its showroom in Isando, Johannesburg.

Movibloc®, manufactured in Europe by storage solutions provider Mecalux, is a robust, versatile bulk filer, that, fitted on mobile bases, converts more of your available space to high-density storage. With shelving lanes opening only as required, Movibloc® enables compact, efficient and secure item storage while protecting inventories from dust and other contaminants.

“By retaining stock of the Movibloc® bulk filer, we can reduce delivery and installation times down to two to three weeks,” explains Jaco Smit, Movibloc® Product Manager, APC Storage Solutions SA. “Customers will be able to choose from over 50 attractive finishes, allowing them to customise and match their Movibloc® to their office environment.”

The stockholding of 80 bays is made up of two shelf depth sizes: 350 mm and 400 mm. They have a standard height of 2 145 mm and standard width of 1 000 mm. “More specialised or application-specific shelving units can also be provided, with sizes and locker configuration designed to individual application requirements,” Smit continues.
