IMM Excellence Awards: Celebrating Leaders in the Marketing and Supply Chain Industries

“At this prestigious event, we will be celebrating those who have made a laudable contribution to both the marketing and supply chain sectors during 2024,” says Irene Gregory, CEO of the IMM Institute.
Call for Nominations
Marketers and supply chain professionals still have time to nominate colleagues for the awards across ten categories. Nominations, along with supporting documents, close on 31 December 2024. “We encourage everyone in each of these sectors to nominate their colleagues so we can honour those individuals and teams who have made significant contributions to both the marketing and supply chain industries in terms of best practices in this strategic focus area for businesses,” Gregory emphasises.
“By nominating your colleagues or teams, you not only acknowledge their outstanding work but also inspire others in the industry to strive for excellence,” she adds. Three candidates will be shortlisted for each award.
Gala Event at The Maslow in Sandton
The IMM Excellence Awards will be hosted at The Maslow in Sandton. Key categories include:
- Marketer of the Year: Celebrating individuals who have demonstrated excellence in marketing.
- Supply Chain Professional of the Year: Honouring outstanding achievements in the supply chain sector.
- Emerging Marketer of the Year: Recognising rising stars who have shown exceptional promise.
- Marketing and Supply Chain Student of the Year: Acknowledging top-performing students who represent the future of these industries.
- Corporate Teams of the Year: Recognising high-performing teams in Marketing and Supply Chain within a corporation.
New Categories and Lifetime Achievement Awards
This year, the Entrepreneur of the Year Award will be introduced, recognising an individual who has demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, and impact in their industry, driving significant business growth and contributing positively to their community.
Lifetime Achievement Awards remain a highlight. Last year, Toyota South Africa’s Brand Pretorius received the Marketing Lifetime Achievement Award for his unparalleled contributions to the field. With a career spanning decades, he played a pivotal role in making Toyota a market leader in sales and customer satisfaction.
