Written by: TNW Save to Instapaper
The V&A Waterfront’s various sustainability initiatives have been further enhanced with the launch of the precinct’s first fully electric commercial boat by local operator City Sightseeing.
Docked outside the One&Only Cape Town, the boat seats 32 passengers and joins City Sightseeing’s regular boat schedule, which operates as a canal cruise and transport link connecting to the city’s CBD.
The boat adds to the V&A Waterfront’s collection of sustainable transport choices including The Green Cab electric shuttle service launched in December 2024.
