Relive the adrenaline-filled action of the Ultimate Best Whip Showdown and Best Trick Contests at Montecasino, South Africa.
The 2024 King of the Whip was bigger and better than ever, with over 20 of the best Freestyle Motocross (FMX) and Motocross riders performing in front of a sold-out crowd. Riders showcased jaw-dropping manoeuvres in a thrilling battle for supremacy.
Belgium’s Julien Vanstippen, a multiple X Games medallist, defended his title to claim the Best Whip Champion crown for the third consecutive year. He was followed by:
- Tom Parsons (USA) in 2nd place.
- Genki “Wanky” Watanabe (Japan) in 3rd place.
In the Best Trick Right-Side-Up and Upside-Down categories, Australia’s Pat Bowden emerged victorious in both, overcoming a broken ankle just a week prior to the event.
