South Africa’s own Zulaikha Patel, an internationally acclaimed speaker, human rights activist, and author, has been honoured with the Media Influencer of the Year Award at the BRICS and SCO Young Leaders Award in Kazan, Russia. The prestigious accolade was officially announced during the Republic of Tatarstan’s Student of the Year 2024 awards ceremony on 26 January 2025.
