ADG Named 2025 Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Africa

JOHANNESBURG, April 10, 2025 – Accelera Digital Group (ADG) announced today that it has been named a 2025 Google Cloud's Partner of the Year for Africa. This award recognises ADG's outstanding contributions to cloud innovation, service excellence, and customer impact across the continent.
The award was presented to Cliff De Wit, ADG Chief Innovation Officer, at the Google Cloud Next ‘25 Partner Summit at Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, on 08 April.
As one of Google Cloud’s largest partners in Africa, ADG is at the forefront of driving digital transformation in key industries, supporting businesses in adopting cloud-first strategies that enable scalability, efficiency, and AI-driven innovation. This recognition reinforces ADG’s pivotal role in advancing Google’s $1 billion+ commitment to Africa, including the launch of the continent’s first Google Cloud region.

ADG has successfully delivered transformative cloud solutions across multiple sectors:
- Fintech – Data & AI: ADG helped Moniepoint, one of Africa’s largest fintech companies, build a scalable data warehouse to support over $20 billion in monthly transactions. By centralising billions of records, Moniepoint can now leverage AI to improve efficiency and decision-making, driving financial inclusion across underbanked regions.
- Fintech – Cloud Foundations: ADG partnered with InTouch Group to build a secure, well-architected Landing Zone on Google Cloud. This foundation optimises cloud operations, enhances security, and provides cost transparency, ensuring scalability as the business grows.
- Online Gaming: ADG supported Betika’s expansion into 10 African countries by reducing cloud costs and ensuring its platform could scale efficiently as it grew. To strengthen security, ADG integrated Mandiant's advanced threat intelligence and incident response capabilities, helping Betika proactively defend against cyber threats.
