Great Community day with Afri-forum Brackendowns CPF
Submitted by: Jacqui
It was a fun-filled community day on 19 April as Fidelity ADT, CPF patrollers, community members, Brackendowns SAPS and other security providers got together in Brackendowns for a fundraiser social event organised by the Afriforum and Brackendowns CPF.
Charnel Hattingh, Group Head of Marketing & Communications at Fidelity ADT, says, “It was wonderful to see so many committed residents working together to fight crime. The day was dedicated to raising funds for the new Community Police Forum patrollers. Gazebos, jumping castles, and flags adorned the area. We were very pleased to be involved. An involved community is a safer community.”
Fidelity SecureFire, a division of the Fidelity Services Group, provided a fire truck giving demonstrations and rides for the children to educate them about how it works.”
Hattingh says, “The children were enthralled by all the Fidelity Fire Truck rides and other activities available, while the community enjoyed the opportunity to socialise and relax in the spirit of neighbourliness,” concludes Hattingh.
