Serco Partners with Woman-Led Fleet Hygiene Business
Written by: Shirley Williams Save to Instapaper
Cape Town-based entrepreneur Aziza Achmad is making waves with her business, Paramount Services, which specialises in deep cleaning refrigerated trucks and trailers — ensuring fleets stay spotless, compliant and environmentally responsible.
Paramount Services is woman-owned, Level 1 B-BBEE certified, and proudly supported by Serco, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies and trailers, through its Enterprise Development Initiative.
Operating from Serco’s Cape Town premises, Paramount Services has already created jobs for five people and is setting new standards in fleet hygiene. Using biodegradable, Halaal-certified cleaning products, Aziza’s team ensures every truck body is cleaned to perfection — safely and sustainably.
“We’re committed to helping fleets operate at peak cleanliness and efficiency,” says Achmad. “Our solutions are not only effective but also ethical and environmentally conscious.”
Serco’s Wendy Holcroft adds: “We don’t own any part of the business — our goal is to uplift and empower small enterprises like Paramount Services. It’s about giving them the tools and support to grow.”
