Crocworld Conservation Centre in Scottburgh has wrapped up one of its most successful festive seasons yet, welcoming more than 7,500 visitors - a massive increase of 1,600 guests compared with 2024’s season! Reconciliation Day (16 December) was a standout highlight, drawing over 400 more people as crowds flocked to celebrate the 125th birthday of Crocworld’s legendary Henry the Nile Crocodile.
Visitors enjoyed a packed holiday programme, from daily crocodile feedings and the lively Colour Run, to festive face painting, the Secret Santa Pop-Up giveaways, and hands-on fun through the WildED Holiday Camp. Families also browsed SCTIE-supported local crafter stalls, while Fish Eagle Café kept the energy high with free New Year’s Day Slushies and delicious menu favourites.
With all this festive excitement — and even bigger upgrades planned for 2026 — Crocworld is gearing up for an unforgettable year ahead, so be sure to keep an eye on all their social media pages for updates.
